Our favourite cheese recipes perfect for barbeques this May

While the weather may still seem dreary we can all cross our fingers and hope that barbeque weather will be with us shortly. The more prepared amongst us may even be thinking of the perfect recipes to serve at your barbeque.

We have taken some of the planning off your hands and have scoured the internet for our favourite cheese recipes this May, that will make the perfect accompaniment for your next al fresco dining experience.

With a great deal of time and careful consideration, we have narrowed our favourites down to just four recipes, take a look at our suggestions:

Recipe: Tomato, Mozzarella and Avocado Salad 

Cheese used: Mozzarella

Perfect with: One of the healthier recipes we have found, we think this salad will go perfectly with barbequed chicken or barbequed fish.

Cheese used: Cheddar & Mozzarella

Perfect with: This indulgent recipe will make an ideal side dish to accompany your delicious barbequed burgers.

Recipe: Watercress salad with steak & stilton

Cheese used: Stilton

Perfect with: A fantastic barbeque dish in its own right, simply prepare the salad and add your barbequed steak.

Recipe: Bacon and Cheddar Straws

Cheese used: Mature Cheddar

Perfect with: Very simple to make, these bacon and cheddar straws will go great with chicken; even better they will still taste great hot or cold. Or they are ideal to keep hunger at bay while waiting for the barbeque food to cook!
